Lot, quote, pickup
One request for the whole dock, instead of a listing per item or a haul-away bill. Here is each step, and what you need for it.
-
Build the lot
Walk the dock and add one line per kind of item: what it is, how many, its condition and a short size. The lot builder keeps a running manifest and saves a draft on your device, so you can finish it after the walk.
-
Request one quote
Send the lot with the pickup ZIP, whether there is a dock or forklift, and when it must be gone. The whole manifest travels as one request, so the lines are priced together and planned as one pickup.
-
Read the quote, line by line
The quote marks each line: resale (it has a buyer), recycling (material value, such as fiber or scrap steel), or disposal. It also states the pickup terms, which usually depend on how much of a truck the lot fills. The truckload calculator shows you that before you ask.
-
Pickup and payment
Accepted lines are collected on the agreed pickup. The quote sets out the payment and the pickup terms for your lot, so you know both before anything is loaded.
Why one lot instead of separate listings?
Freight is the largest cost in buying used packaging. A buyer who sees one gaylord listing at a time can’t plan a truck; a buyer who sees the whole dock can. Lines that wouldn’t justify a pickup on their own can ride with the lines that do. And you deal with one request instead of a dozen.

Questions
Do I need an account?
No. The lot builder saves a draft on your device, and one request sends the lot.
Can I change the lot after sending it?
Yes. Reply to the quote, or email info@junksell.com, with what changed.
Are photos needed?
Not to send a lot. If a line is mixed or damaged, the reply may ask for a photo or two.
Who pays for pickup?
It depends on the lot’s size and value. The quote states it.
