Value check

Has value, maybe, or disposal? Pick the item, answer a few questions, and see which side of the line it is on, with the reason. No prices: the lot quote does that.

1. Which item?
2. A few questions about your wood crates
Are the boards and joints sound?
Are they a repeating size?

Answer the questions

The result shows here: likely resale, possibly, or disposal, with the reason for each answer.

How the check decides

Each answer is marked OK, grade (lowers the value or sends some units to repair or recycling) or out (rules out reuse). The worst answer decides the result: one “out” makes the line disposal or recycling, one “grade” makes it possible.

The questions are the general factors reuse buyers look at for each item: dry fiber and flaps for gaylords, contents and cages for IBC totes, ownership and breakage for pallets.

What the check can’t tell you

It isn’t a price or a promise. Quantity, location and the rest of the lot change what a line is worth, and a “disposal” line can still travel on the same truck as the rest of the lot. For the real answer, put the line in a lot.

Each item’s full rules are on what we buy.
